Prior experience must include experience with defining basic SAS programming code for transformation of source clinical data to SDTM structure; completing data comparisons and understanding the statistical analysis plan to ensure all necessary source data is collected in a supportive manner and assess the impact to the corresponding SDTM data; utilizing knowledge of CDISC industry standards including CDASH, SDTM, and NCI controlled terminology and its applicability to clinical drug development processes and needs to provide ongoing guidance to clinical trial teams regarding industry regulatory data submission requirements, including CDISC and NCI data standards; assessing a study clinical protocol and ensuring that all relevant industry standards are followed during database build, as well as providing specifications for data transformation which results in submission datasets which are both structurally and contextually compliant with the defined version of SDTM and NCI controlled terminology; assessing data types which are not yet included within existing industry standards and define Sponsor Defined standards appropriately, with a consideration for global harmonization of sponsor studiessubmissions; ensuring that evolving industry standards are evaluated, considered and implemented; electronic database set up, including detailed understanding of the impact of attribute definitions on data entry data capture, on the clinical data extract structure, and the impact on SDTM mappingtransformation programming requirements; reading and understanding the clinical trial protocols; investigating issues raised by stakeholders, assess possible root causes and potential solutions, and ensure their resolution; and communicating and working effectively in a virtual environment with remote team members, with consideration for multiple time zone differences.
