Specific Skills

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in applied statistics, quantitative psychology, computer science, public health, biostatistics, or a related field and 2 years of statistical analysis experience in an epidemiologic, behavioral, or cancer prevention and control environment. In lieu of a bachelors degree and 2 years of experience, will accept a Masters degree. Must also have experience or background in the following Statistical methods including descriptive and linear statistical models, analysis of variance and regression, and fundamental knowledge of analysis of categorical data; Developing and maintaining databases in REDCap; Using database software such as Access and Oracle; Using graphic software programs including Tableau; Interpreting statistical data and presenting orally and in writing data results for research study investigators; Developing and maintaining websites to share findings and facilitate data collection; Evaluating reports, research studies and other medical data; Translate technical statistical terminology into terms understandable to nonstatisticians; Managing multiple projects with competing deadlines in a professional manner.br br Any suitable combination of experience of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
