B.S. Agriculture, Agronomy, or similar or foreign equal. plus two years progressive experience in quality control of imported fruits. Experience must include entire inspection process, auditing food safety and sanitation and training and supervising QC workers. Applicant must have indepth knowledge of QC and international standards for imported fruit, food safety, product tracing and product recalls, USDA and APHIS standards and quarantine procedures, postharvest management including precooling table grapes, temperature control of storage in stone fruits, grape and citrus and inventory management of fresh fruits. Applicants must be a Certified Quality Auditor, have high ability with MS Word and Excel and be bilingual SpanishEnglish. ANY SUITABLE COMBINATION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING OR EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE.
