Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, applied statistics, quantitative psychology, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field and 5 years of experience in software, application and database development including using SAS programming language in a clinical research environment. Experience must include may be gained concurrently 3 years of supervision and management of multiple users and systems; 2 years of statistical analysis experience in an epidemiologic, behavioral, or public health environment; Basic and advanced statistical methods used in clinical research; Handling systems integration and compatibility issues across multiple platforms and software packages; Extracting, cleaning, and validating data from electronic medical records and other data sources containing PHI; Preparing reports to be shared with leadership and other stakeholders throughout the institution; Preparing and delivering presentations of data summaries and findings to leadership and other stakeholders throughout the institution; Directing and participating in softwarehardware release and installation tasks; Integrating and using programming languages including C, Visual Basic, Pascal, or SQL; Microsoft Access, MS application programming, Windows operating system; Using statistical software including SPSS, R, or related; Using Tableau to independently design visualization tools, provide and control access to visualizations, and provide training to users; Testing and debugging developed applications; Documenting program and application development; Developing effective user interfaces; Webbased applications and development.
