The position requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, engineering, or a related technical field and ten years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or in software development. Will accept a masters degree or foreign equivalent in lieu of two years of stated experience. Stated experience must include designing and developing networking appliance software products; developing faulttolerant systems; writing functional specifications; computer architecture; Linux Kernel programming or systemlevel programming; virtualization software or cloud computing; application security capabilities; Unix or Linux; debugging; at least one of the following programming languages C or C; Experience must include TCP, IP, UDP,DNS or HTTP networking protocols; C programming; Kernellevel development or debugging; GDB, DDB, or KGDB; Ethereal or Wireshark; designing features on multicore systems; troubleshooting issues in distributed environment involving multinode cluster systems; design and development of scalable security features for application delivery controllers; and Perforce and Coverity.
