Knowledge in clinical laboratory setting work, such as in a hospital, clinic, or reference lab.br Knowledge of laboratory systems, databases and spreadsheets such as Sunquest, SmarTerm, Cerner, and Middleware like WAM Sysmex.br Knowledge related to laboratory equipment including hematology, chemistry, immunochemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, toxicology testing systems, semen analysis, microbiology, and molecular biology.br Knowledge in performing routine testing, quality control, calibration when applicable, and troubleshooting.br Knowledge in specimen processing and handling, including blood, semen, urine, stool, and all other body fluids that are received in the lab.br Knowledge in body fluid cell counts and manual differentials, as well as peripheral blood manual differentials.br Knowledge in hematology studies, body fluid analysis, clinical chemistries, coagulation studies, and urinalysis.br Knowledge in immunohematology, blood typing, antibody screening, donor crossmatching, direct antihuman globulin testing, fetal maternal bleed screening, using both tube and Gel methodology.br Knowledge of blood and body cell morphology, including the ability to recognize cells that may be indicative of leukemia, anemias, or another pathological condition.br Knowledge of post vasectomy and semen analysis for infertility using WHO 5th morphology grading, forward progression assessment, and viability staining.br Knowledge in bone marrow aspiratecore slide preparation and processing of marrow preparatory to send out flow and cytogenetics.br Knowledge in rapid microbiology testing, organism staining and recognition, PCR testing and analyzers, and blood culture instrumentation.br Must be willing to work day, afternoon, and overnight shifts, as well as rotating weekend and holiday shifts.br br Upon hire, all applicants will be subject to drug testingscreening and background checks.
