Minimum requirements are Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a directly related field; and 7 years of Java software development experience.br br Must have Experience developing server side Java code for a highly utilized web application in an enterprise environment utilizing a popular J2EE application server including WebSphere, JBOSS or Tomcat; demonstrated ability to perform fullstack web development in a commercial financial services product with external clients connecting via extranet; experience developing browser based client side code using web technologies including JavaScript, ES6, HTML,CSS, StrutsSpringMVC, JSP , AJAX, and DWRJSON and especially toolkits including ReactJS; solid knowledge of Spring, Java APIs including JMS and JTA, multithreading, secure coding principles and web security concerns , webservices, and common open source library; Indepth working knowledge of the JMS protocol from commercial JMS vendors in an application that relies on external clients connecting via extranet; expertlevel knowledge of Core Java, especially in areas related to Java threading, networking, database access serverside web frameworks and others; excellent understanding of network protocols, Java security issues, Java class loaderrelated technologies, thread synchronization and similar technologies; excellent working knowledge of UNIX operating system, demonstrated ability to write UNIX shell scripts; Experience with relational database development including SQL, PLSQL, triggers, complex stored procedures; excellent understanding of the Oracle engine and performance tuning; excellent working knowledge of data access frameworks like HibernateJPA and Spring data; demonstrated understanding of distributed application architecture, familiarity with modern distributed data structures framework like Hazelcast, Ehcache, Memcache; Excellent understanding of PAAS cloud, SONAR, Veracode scanning; excellent understanding of SWIFT financial messaging protocol; and indepth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, track record of understanding and navigating well in a complex financial technology environment that places a high value on risk excellence and compliance.
