Requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering, and ten 10 years of experience in the job offered or ten 10 years of experience in design and construction management; negotiating with contractors on civil infrastructure projects involving construction planning, quality control, change order claim resolution and change management; in multidisciplinary coordination on water wastewater treatment plant construction projects; utilizing thorough understanding of various types of construction contracts and procurement procedures; utilizing construction management experience working on both designbidbuild and designbuild type of contracts; working on designbuild projects with construction cost of more than 100 million; Reviewing and understanding construction drawings and specifications; responding to contractor Request for Information RFIs related to construction; managing various aspects of the designconstruction projects with respect to scope, schedule, budget and quality control; utilizing project management software such as Bentley ProjectWise, Primavera CM14, AutoCAD and MSProject; and utilizing the principles of project management as described by Project Management Institute PMI.
