Cowens Enterprise Commissions Managemnt System is a proprietary system which manages calculation, distribution reporting of commissions to clients. It performs all operational activities related to capture allocation, disbursement reporting to clients of commissions managed by Cowen provides operational reports or feeds necessary to support those activities. Emplee will devel new apps features for, make modifications to, ensure timely release of deliverables for, this system. This is exacting work which involves large volumes of data from various sources involves calculation disbursement of commissions payable at different rates different times. This system must be accurate, efficient secure. Due to complexity of apps to be develd need to exercise independ judgmnt, min exp is 5 yrs progressively resp positions gathering requirements from business users, designing appls, managng deliverables production support, any job title. Job title is not relevant as it is common for diff tech cos to use diff job titles for similar positions. Therefore, we require indiv to have 5 yrs exp performing core duties regardless of title. We require that at least 2 yrs of the exp be for projects involving commission sharing systems using Winforms, C#, Dot Net 4.0, SQL Server 2008, R2 or higher, SSAS, Web services. In order to perform duties, employee will need to have comprehensive understanding of commission sharing as well as exp developing apps for these specialized systems. This knowledge can only be gained by practical exp in field. Major technologies to be used include Winforms a platform on which to write applications; C# powerful flexible programming language which was created as an objectoriented programming language. Object oriented programming languages organize software design around data, or objects.; Dot Net 4.0 framework that provides programming guidelines used to develop a wide range of apps; SQL Server 2008 data management reportng platform that delivers secure, remote synchronization managemnt capabilities for running branch apps; R2 or higher R2 is an operating system. An operating system is software that controls computers basic functions.; SSAS is a multidimensional OLAP server as well as an analytics engine that allows for slicing of large volumes of data. OLAP Online Analytical Processing is a technology for data discovery, which includes capabilities for limitless report viewing, complex analytical calculations, predictive planning; web services collection of open protocols standards used for exchanging data btwn apps or systems. While the employee also will utilize other technologies, we list only those at the core of the position the foundation upon which system is built which it would take at least 6 mos to 1 yr for an otherwise qualified candidate to master. It is anticipated that indiv wthe min exp would have the exp wthese technologies We respectfully submit that reqs are normal for the occup.
