Minimum education required Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology or Industrial Engineering, or foreign equivalent degree. Minimum experience required Must have 2 years experience in an industrial engineering position with a Tier1 automotive supplier of sealing systems. Special skills required Must have 2 years work experience in each of the following applying data analysis techniques to assess the impact of changes and improvements on product manufacturing processes; using AutoCAD to define and review manufacturing plant layouts; working with crossfunctional, multicultural teams on the definition of processes and the assessment of manufacturing risks; developing and coordinating the implementation of industrial engineering processes to ensure the optimization of space, materials, and labor; implementing benchmarking and best practice methods. Must have 6 months work experience in each of the following developing and defining production costs for automotive sealing systems; evaluating tooling capital; integrating logistics, packaging, product design and purchasing data into cost estimation models; working with Engineering and Sales personnel to optimize estimates and draft bids; collaborating with Finance and Process Engineering personnel to standardize global quoting procedures; applying global benchmarks to draft quotes for new program process cycles; supporting global cost estimation team in the evaluation of volume cost, tooling, and capital; performing financial analyses for engineering change requests for global programs. Experience may be acquired concurrently.
