Requires a U.S. or foreign equivalent bachelors degree in Accounting, Taxation or a related field. A three year foreign bachelors degree in lieu of a four year degree is acceptable.br Must also have CPA certification or Enrolled Agent Certification.br Also requires at least three years of progressive experience in tax preparation including experience in the followingbr Preparing and reviewing U.S. income corporate and partnership tax returns including statelocalcomplex multientitymultinational consolidated and combined filing returns;br Perform apportionment analysis and consultation including market sourcing, costs of performance, alternative apportionment petitions, and perform Net Operating Loss studies including limitations, carrybacks;br Prepare and review state tax modification and adjustment workpapers to calculate differences from federal taxable income required for state purposes;br Performing nexus studies and review to determine income and sales tax filing obligations for state and local purposes, preparing voluntary disclosure agreements VDAs and other SALT income tax consulting. Review of indirect compliance and consulting projects including sales tax nexus related to internet ecommerce sales, gross receipts tax filings, local business tax filings, and notice and reporting audit and controversy support;br Provide research and calculations related to state estimated corporate tax as well as partnership and individual state withholdings for income tax;br State and local tax notice and audit management including internalexternal memorandums related to assessments and client responses.br Occasional same day travel for work at clients offices, meetings and seminars using a personal vehicle.br Occasional overtime work required throughout the year. Heavy overtime work required between January 1 through April 15, and September 1 through October 15 may be in excess of 55 hours per week.
