Qualified applicants will possess a PhD in Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Statistics, Nutrition, Nutritional Genomics, or closely related field and 1 year of related industry experience. Experience must include largescale genomic data, including whole genome sequencing, exome sequencing, amplicon sequencing, bisulfite sequencing, RNAseq, single cell RNAseq; using R, Python and Perl for complex bioinformatics data analysis; bioinformatics pipelines and tools, including ArrayStudio, NextBio, BWA, SAMTools, Cellranger; producing interactive outputs R Shiny; performing and sharing bioinformatics analysis using Jupyter Notebook; new bioinformatics algorithm development; relational databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server; programming in a cloud environment; statistical principles and with core methods, including hypothesis testing, conditional probability, regression modeling, power calculation, dimensionality reduction, treebased models, bootstrapping, maximum likelihood, and bayesian models; relevant concepts in immunology and molecular biology, such as innate and adaptive immune responses, antigen recognition; allergy and autoimmune disease models; and with next generation sequencing related molecular biology experiments. Must have record of publications in peerreviewed journals and patent filings. Up to 5 international and domestic travel is required.
