Must have five 5 years of progressively responsible experience with all of the following Chemical plant process equipment for continuous processes; analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot chemical process issues; utilize expertise in the Hydrogen Carbon Monoxide HYCO or Steam Methane Reformer SMR plant process to maintain and improve plant operation to ensure maximum productivity and profitability; detailed console operation knowledge, base controls, alarms and responses; utilize Microsoft Project Prima Vera scheduling software for efficient planning of multifaceted and complex projects; maintenance and reliability industry best practices, downtime reporting, root cause analysis on failures, QAQC process for repair activities; procurement process and systems, contractor qualification process, cost effectiveness review, bidding process, contract review and negotiation, and labor relations; strong knowledge of work permit systems, energy isolation methods, lock out tag out implementation, management of change; environmental compliance knowledge of both federal and state rules and limits; Siemens PCS7 control system software, PLC Programmable Logic Controllers, DCS Direct Control System, and HMI Human Machine Interface operation and troubleshooting; conduct safety validation of controls systems; plant operations knowledge in HAZOP reviews; and plant operations and controls knowledge in FAT Factory Acceptance Tests.br br In the alternative, the employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in chemical engineering or related field of study, plus three 3 years of experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
