The position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Law, or a related field plus a minimum of seven 7 years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position also requires demonstrable experience with each of the following Forecasting and projecting financial performance on an underwriting year and U.S. GAAP generally Accepted Accounting Principles basis; Financial acumen including demonstrable ability to interpret financial statements, understand accounting principles, and conduct financial scenario analyses; Creating financial models to support new business cases; Undertaking portfolio analysis to identify underperforming classes over financial historical period; Leading and developing governance committees and frameworks for projects considered complex in nature with organizationalwide impact e.g., strategically important, technical in nature, large budget, etc.; Advanced understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods including Excel, SAS, and VBA; Advanced understanding of the Insurance industry, Statutory Financial Statements, and U.S. GAAP Financial statements; and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants designation or similar designation with a comparable society.
