Utilizing CAD modeling software ProE or SolidWorks and Creo to create 3D models and drawings. 3. Working with laboratory and industrial equipment to include Instron machine, water pumps, microscopes, and laboratory cameras. 4. Working with Environmental Health and Safety guidelines. 5. Providing engineering support to the RD team in the design and development of medical device or components. 6. Developing and executing process validations to include Installation Qualification IQ, Operational Qualification OQ and Performance Qualification PQ. 7. Working with crossfunctional teams to support design control activities and their crossfunctional implications. 8. Performing finite element analysis using Abaqus. 9. Creating anatomic models based on clinical imaging for device design and simulation. 10. Participating in the new medical product development or design change development cycle. 11. Prototyping, testing, modifying and validating cardiovascular implants and their delivery system catheters. 12. Interfacing with suppliers and customers on the engineering aspects of cardiovascular devices and simulating software. 13. Electronic instrumentation control, data and image acquisition, as well as system integration. 14.
