Bachelors in computer science, statistics, finance, operations research, economics, geography, GIS, cartography, or related field plus 12 months of experience with geospatial mapping software and protocols related to coordinate vectorbased cartography such as shape file visualization, ArcGIS implementations, census data mapping, and other coordinate based data visualization; 24 months experience with open source tools for data analysis, data mining, data visualization and business intelligence; 12 months experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript; and 12 months experience with adhoc choropleth maps with JavaScript graphing libraries.
