Specific Skills

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3 years of release engineering experience. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of release engineering experience.br br MUST HAVE 3 years of Scrum Master experience for software delivery teams and CSM certification; 3 years of experience in a functional role associated with software development life cycle including Project Management, Analysis, Design, Development, Quality Assurance; 3 years of programming experience with Python or JavaScript; Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts such as diverse team sizes, organizations, cultures, colocated vs. distributed and with backlog tracking, Scrum and Kanban based metrics, task definition, and story splitting; knowledge of Kanban and JIRA; familiarity with Agile techniques including Acceptance Test Driven Development ATDD, Test Driven Development TDD, Feature Driven Development FDD, and Continuous Integration; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and experience in sprint and release planning, running demos, and retrospectives. Unless otherwise indicated, Akamai is seeking the stated ability in the above skills but no specific amount or years of experience in these skills is required.
