Working with CAD software including NXUnigraphicsbr br Experience may be obtained concurrently.br br This is a key position with AAM, responsible in part for developing CAE ComputerAided Engineering models based on CAD models such as NXUnigraphics models, by using FEA Finite Element Analysis, MBD MultiBody Dynamics, and other CAE tools, including MatlabSimulink and ADAMS, for electric and hybrid vehicle driveline systems; performing automotive driveline system dynamics, kinematics and acoustics simulations to identify NVH risks that are related to gear train systems; performing design iterations and optimization studies to identify best design solutions to meet internal and customer requirements; correlating CAE model results to vehicle and lab data; developing new NVH CAE modeling methodologies and new procedures that are related to development of driveline products; and creating and presenting analytical reports that are related to Driveline system NVH performances to internal and external customers. Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, as well as experience with, applicable concepts and issues, a Masters Degree in ElectricDrive Vehicle Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or foreign equivalent education, and 6 months experience in Automotive Engineering, is required, as the position involves working with modeling and simulation of electric and hybrid vehicles; working with Dynamics tools including MatlabSimulink; working with automotive gear train systems; simulation of vehicle gear train system dynamics working with control theory of electrical vehicles; and working with CAD software including NXUnigraphics.
