Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Mechanical Engineering or related field and ten 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Technical Leader, Design Engineer or in a related engineering occupation. Experience must have included ten 10 years of experience with the following Applied Solid Modeling in CAD, including experience designing mechanical components and subassemblies using Solidworks and CATIA; designing lead acid automotive battery components to meet OEM and Aftermarket automotive requirements for mass production; five 5 years of experience with the following completing and evaluating FEA Finite Element Analysis and CAE ComputerAided Engineering results for component and system design; applying GDT Geometric Dimensional Tolerancing to component and system designs; creating, updating, and maintaining models, drawings, material specifications, BOM Bill of Materials, and managing endto end product data for components and assemblies in SAP; planning and performing component and assembly level builds and tests through use of parts and assemblies at varying maturity levels from rapid prototype to production level; and, two 2 years of experience designing lithiumion cell and system components for mass production. Position also requires up to 15 of national travel.
