This position requires a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field plus 12 years of related experience working with high and medium voltage equipment and cable, installation of transmissioncollection lines, and substation construction. Alternatively, this position requires 14 years of related experience working with high and medium voltage equipment and cable, installation of transmissioncollection lines, and substation construction. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 working with electrical drawings, sketches, and prints; SCADA systems used in the power industry; transmission line construction, testing; and commissioning; and substation construction, testing, and commissioning; 2 ensuring proper installation of electrical systems for construction projects, including underground cabling, overhead power transmission lines, and electrical substations; 3 overseeing electrical subcontractors, including reviewingmonitoring subcontractors procurement of electrical resources, methods, staffing, lookahead schedules, and coordination with other site activities; 4 providing formwork selection, equipment sizing, and site utilization plan; and 5 working on the installation, testing, acceptance, maintenance, and repair of high and medium voltage cables. May work in various unanticipated locations in the United States.
