Project management for gages, from concept to prototype and actual production,br 2. Designing gages for engine components.br br Experience may be obtained concurrently.br br This is a key position with TKS USA, Inc., responsible for the overall management of design activities for gages for engine components used in the automotive industry, including plug gages, hand gages, and assembled gages, between Japanese OEMs customers and our Japanese headquarters; modification of gages as well as performance testing and presentation to our customers for the certification report on the gages; managing the design, development and testing of prototype components associated with gages; recommending and implementing corrective action to ensure gages perform in accordance with specifications; liaison with customers, suppliers and headquarters in Japan; inspect gages to ensure they are designed in accordance with customers specifications and perform within required tolerances; and manage all research and development for next generation of gages. Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, as well as experience with, applicable concepts and issues, a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or foreign equivalent education, and 5 years of postbaccalaureate progressive experience working in the automotive industry in the position of Gage Design Engineer, is required, as the position involves project management for gages, from concept to prototype and actual production as well as designing gages for engine components.
