Must possess full or limited recognition to practice in patent matters before the USPTO, or be eligible to acquire same. Must possess at least four years of experience as a Scientific Analyst, Patent Agent, or similar role. Must have at least four years of experience with preparation and prosecution of patent applications, patent strategy counseling and portfolio management, and IP due diligence including freedom to operate and patentability analyses, and due diligence for corporate transactions, technology transfers and investments.br br Qualifications of the foreign national As detailed in Section J, the foreign national possesses a doctorate Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego 2014. He further possesses limited recognition to practice in patent matters before the USPTO. Additionally, he possesses in excess of four years of experience as a Scientific Analyst, Patent Agent or a similar role. Specifically, he has been employed as a Scientific Analyst at Morrison Foerster LLP since October 20, 2014. His experience includes assisting more senior staff with preparation and prosecution of patent applications, patent strategy counseling and portfolio management, as well as with IP due diligence including freedomtooperate and patentability analyses, and due diligence for corporate transactions, technology transfers, and investments.br br Please note that the position of Scientific Analyst is not substantially comparable to the position of MidLevel Chemistry Patent Agent as the positions require the performance of different job duties in excess of 50 of the time.
