Conducting research in the automotive safety restraint field.br br Experience may be obtained concurrently.br br This is a key position with TK Services Inc., responsible in part for conducting burn rate calculationsevaluations; handling data Mining of Field Return Inflators; creating data visualizations using Tableau, Python and Matlab software; directing and coordinating inflator and inflator component level testing including Inflator Ballistic tests, Vapor Sorption Analyzer testing, Laser Scanning Micrometer testing, moisture testing, Thermogravimetric Analysis, and Infrared Spectroscopy; creating and coordinating prototype builds and apply Design of Experiments DOE techniques to obtain RD results; conducting code and automate test results analysis in order to retrieveanalyze distribute large data sets; and performing vehicle inspections in coordination with legal, OEM and government agencies. Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, as well as experience with, applicable concepts and engineering issues, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or foreign equivalent education, and three years related experience working in the automotive safety restraint industry, is required, as the position involves analyzing large data sets using tools including Python, Tableau, Matlab; building prototype inflator systems; performing or directing inflator component level testing including Ballistic testing, Vapor Sorption Analyzer, Laser Scanning micrometer, Karl Fisher, Thermogravimetric Analysis, and Infrared Spectroscopy; and conducting research in the automotive safety restraint field.
