To establish equivalence to a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, will accept 3 years of postsecondary education in Mechanical Engineering and 1 year experience in a quality engineering position. Minimum experience required Must have 2 years experience in a quality engineering position working on the vertical development of automotive convertible roof systems and components. Special skills required Must have 2 years work experience in each of the following design, development, validation and release of multicomponent dynamic automotive convertible roof systems; verification of product testing results for elastomeric, Class A, and kinematic assembly of automotive convertible roof components; evaluation of design for manufacturing, design for assembly and poke yoke for quality control; performance of VDA 6.3 audits; root cause evaluation of production quality and assembly issues for tooling, supplier and subsupplier of automotive convertible roof components and systems. Must have 1 year work experience in the formulation of testing processes for multicomponent dynamic automotive convertible roof systems. Experience may be acquired concurrently.br br Further explanation of educational requirements from Field H.4A due to space limitations in that field Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, or foreign equivalent degree.
