Specific Skills

Electrical substation design experience must include Substation high voltage physical design; Electrical clearances; Rigid bus design and raceway using Bentley Micro station application; Conduit fill calculation; Voltage drop; Battery sizing and lightning protection design; and substation grounding analysis using CDEGS software. Must also have experience with substation protection and control design including development of relaying one line, ACDC schematics, wiring diagrams, RTUSCADA drawings, control building layouts, and relay panel layouts. Must have experience with National Electrical Code for substation electrical design. Domestic travel required approximately 10 of the time. Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English. All applicants must be able to complete preemployment onboarding requirements if selected which may include anyall of the following criminalcivil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
