Position requires a PhD degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science, and one 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Quantitative Associate, Statistical Analyst, or related role in an advanced scientific, mathematical, or related field in the banking industry, including internships, research assistant, or rotational programs.br br Position also requires one 1 year of experience in the banking industry, including experience with retail credit card and auto loans or commercial portfolios. Requires experience with SAS, R, SQL, Python and Linux model development environment. Requires strong knowledge in statistical, econometric, and machine learning modeling frameworks. Requires familiarity with the standards for quantitative models as currently advised by the Federal Reserve through their guidance e.g. SR 1518. Requires experience in predictive modeling and data analysis. Requires significant knowledge of commercial andor retail portfolios and respective loss modeling frameworks. Requires the application of regression models and time series models. Requires familiarity with various monitoring and backtesting techniques required to assess model performance. Requires sufficient SQL and database skills to work with large amounts of data when required. Requires experience in constructing and maintaining longform documentation suitable for review, and critical assessment, by regulators and internal business partners. Requires coursework or research using standard model development tools such as SAS and MATLAB. Requires research experience with developing and critical assessment of modeling data sets. Skills can be gained concurrently or as part of a graduate degree program.
