Background in education, training, or experience must include demonstrated experience in both lubricants and engine technology; experience in petroleum engineering and chemistry industries; experience in the formulation and development of lubricant additives for specialties and industrial engine oils; experience in lubricant market chemical solutions including project management with key players in the field; experience in fuel additives and application knowledge in the field including antiwearextreme pressure additives, friction modifier technologies, antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors, detergents, and demulsifiers; experience working with lubricant additives and engine lubricants, including understanding of the specificity for each application related to gears as well as the specific tests and formulations for additives including pressure and temperature; understanding of the chemistry that goes into formulations, and understanding of engines and transmissions used in a wide variety of applications including but not limited to automotive applications; experience in final customer application through experience in technical support. Approximately 10 travel required, primarily domestic with some to international customer sites; no telecommuting benefit, no alternate work or residence location available.
