Specific Skills

Must have 3 years of work experience with Skills pertaining to the design, analysis, condition assessment and load rating of bridges and structures. Preparing bridge andor structures construction documents plans, specifications and engineers estimate. Computer software specific to the design and analysis of bridge and structures engineering including SAP2000, CSiBridge, PGSuper or equivalent. Seismic engineering analysis and modelling. Developing engineering calculations using MS Excel or MathCAD. In addition, must possess expertise knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise knowledge cannot be quot;quantifiedquot; by quot;time.quot; Required expertiseknowledge includes AutoCAD, MicroStation or equivalent to create and manage engineering plans. Codes and standards pertaining to the design of bridges and structures in the State of Washington. Experience with designbuild projects, their unique requirements and contracts. Experience with developing and coordinating designs within an interdisciplinary project environment. Managing design packages and projects on time with the schedule of deliverables and on budget. Understanding and adhering to thorough quality assurance processes. Professional Engineer License or eligibility to obtain PE within a year.
