Requires at least a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field and 24 months experience in analytical chemistry or biochemistry laboratory environment; 24 months experience in the following experimental method development, validation, data analysis, and data interpretation of small molecules and biomolecules using high performance liquid chromatography mass spectrometry HPLCMS, gas chromatography mass spectrometry GCMS; structural elucidation of small molecules using DDA or DIA mass methods; biomolecule characterizations including oligonucleotide, intact protein and peptide mapping; operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting current analytical instrumentation including tandem mass spectrometry and timeofflight mass spectrometry; liquid chromatography separation techniques such as SEC, RP, HILIC, IEX; and using and maintaining common mass spectrometry data analysis software such as Chromeleon, MassHunter, Masslynx, Empower. The experience requirements may be satisfied through employment, training, or an academic program.
