The Department of Labor determined that the job description most closely relates to SOC ONETOES codeoccupational title quot;291029 Dentists, All Other Specialists.quot; 251071 Health Specialties Teachers, Postsecondary was also used as the duties described are a combination of the occupations.quot; Please note that job requires hands on clinical care in the University of New England Oral Health Center one day per week. This ensures proper care to patients in the clinic, particularly in more complicated cases, and also serves to maintain the skills of all professors. As such, we submit that the combination of job duties into this single position is well justified under principles of Business Necessity because our College of Dental Medicine professors need to be able to provide both didactic instruction to students and to provide clinical instruction through demonstration and supervision of patient care within the Oral Health Centers clinical operations, and it would be infeasible and is consistent with our educational model to hire two different individuals to perform these duties as separate positions.
