Bachelors degree or higher in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.br Certified as at least an EngineerinTraining E.I.T..br Two 2 years of experience in the design and construction of civil engineering structures, including buildings, bridges, roads, or sanitary systems.br Two 2 years of experience in drilling, soil borings and other subsurface investigations.br Two 2 years of experience performing technical writing, including the preparation of Request for Proposal RFP documents, periodic progress reports to clients, and civilgeotechnical subsurface investigation and design reports including findings, conclusions and design recommendations as well as the updating of civilgeotechnical engineering reports submitted by contractors.br Two 2 years of technical engineering planning experience, involving coordinating with clients, contractors and internal departments to complete assigned civilgeotechnical projects, including both office design tasks and field work, within project budget and schedule, while complying with projectspecific technical specifications and monitoring scope of work, scope creep and project delays that may require additional budget authorization from the client.br Two 2 years of design calculation experience, including the performance of bearing capacity and settlement calculations of shallow spread footing foundations, pile capacity calculations, uplift calculations, earth pressure calculations, stability analysis of retaining walls, and temporary support of excavation design and analysis.br Demonstrated proficiency using geotechnical design software packages, including any of software like LPile, Liquefy Pro, SlopeW and Shoring Suite.br Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including the preparation of detailed engineering reports, construction cost estimates and progress report PowerPoint presentations.br Demonstrated proficiency with the AutoCAD suite software, including the creation of construction drawings using multiple reference files, such as survey base maps and utility location files.br A willingness to work overtime, as needed, to complete the assigned field andor office tasks.br Experience may have been gained prior to the completion of your degree.
