Bachelors degree in Economics or related field and 5 years of progressive, postbachelors management consulting, thinktank, or political research experience. Prior experience must also include the following working on research projects that span at least 3 months in duration; conducting primary and secondary research through phonebased or inperson interviews and online databases; writing indepth reports in a professional setting with tight timelines or deadlines for research; analyzing business issues; performing root cause analysis and applying inductive and deductive reasoning; generating hypotheses; formulating and defending original points of view and synthesis of complex ideas; persuasive writing; and, using graphics and visuals to communicate ideas and information through tools including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
