Requires a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or supporting process or manufacturing automation within the life sciences industry. In lieu of a Masters degree in stated field and 2 years of experience as stated, will accept a Bachelors degree in stated field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or supporting process or manufacturing automation within the life sciences industry. All stated experience must include the following industrial automation software including RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View Machine Edition ME and Wonderware System Platform; automation technologies including programmable logic controllers PLC, humanmachine interfaces HMI and industrial drives; industrial instrumentation engineering; electrical troubleshooting up to 480VAC; and applying knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards to compliance practices. Must also have 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems MES; creating, modifying or reviewing AutoCAD drawings; advanced process control; industrial networking; and, food manufacturing processes including low acid aseptic processing and filling. Experience may be gained concurrently. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25 of working time. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training andor experience which would qualify an applicant for this position.
