cont. from H.11 work closely with real estate developers, partners, and senior designersplanners in preparing design concepts, concept development and preparation of final plans; coordinate with traffic, transit, transportation, civil engineering, entertainment, landscape, code, security, parking, lighting, zoning, signage, marketingbranding, historic preservation, adaptive reuse and waste management consultants to incorporate multidisciplinary expertise and engineering systems into unified design for client and agency review and approval; coordinate project data and transmission of all electronic communications utilizing Deltek Vision project information management software; assist staffing manager in establishing task schedules and manpower requirements consistent with the terms and conditions of the project agreement; assist in identifying weekly project requirements and longterm needs; assist in preparation of RFP documents and responding to RFPs from potential clients; conduct onsite work sessions, supply and demand studies, capacity studies, functional concept plans and adjacencies, development and phasing plans, traffic and parking plans, and economic impact studies.br br Requires Masters degree in Urban Design or foreign equivalent plus 1 year of experience to include assisting and participating in largescale projects, including international and domestic urban design and master planning projects; participating in all phases of a wide range of urban and exurban projects, including urban design competitions requiring expedited concept development and document production, international urban design, urban infill development projects, including urban design, mixed use regeneration, urban revitalization, urban planning, streetscapes, land use, transportation and open space planning projects; identifying project opportunities to expedite project delivery and increase project team collaboration; developing and improving methods and processes for services and practice; assisting in preparation of information and drawings for analyses and reports, including conceptual urban design documents; conducting environmental impact studies, site reconnaissance and site investigations using GIS, Grasshopper, and Rhino software platforms; analyzing sketches, photographs, notes and site surveys of existing conditions and other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawings to solve technical issues of design in relation to sites and buildings; coordinating input from multiple partners and consultants to translate into site plans; analyzing design concept in 2D3D and translate them into plan, elevation and perspective view drawings, 2D3D digital models and rendering of designs using 2D3D software including AutoCAD, Rhino, Sketchup, Revit, Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; developing building models and preparing freehand sketches with various media including pencil, ink, color pencil and markers; preparing design guidelines, capacity studies, concept plans, development plans, entitlement plans and traffic demand management plans by using datamining and analytic modeling software platforms; preparing design guidelines for corporations and established design standards to apply on projects locally, regionally and globally; adhering to firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution, and sustainability, or other similar proprietary rating system metrics; creating and preparing design presentations for clients and agencies having jurisdiction over projects; cont. in K.9 Job 1
