H.10B Must have 2 years of research experience with pharmaceutical formulation and processing, specifically with formulation technology for bioavailability enhancement of poorly watersoluble drugs. Experience must include the following material characterization, including particle size analysis by static and dynamic light scattering, surface area analysis, powder Xray diffraction, electron microscopy, thermal analysis DSC, TGA, complex fluid rheology, powder wettability, tablet disintegrationdissolution, and zeta potential analysis. Must have publication record in peerreviewed journals demonstrating expertise in pharmaceutical formulation and processing for bioavailability enhancement of poorly watersoluble drugs through a broad range of particle engineering technologies such as hot melt extrusion, milling, spray drying, fluid bed granulation, and twinscrew wet granulation and material characterization.br H.12 PLEASE NOTE that the requirements bear a reasonable relationship to the occupation of Chemical Engineer in the context of the multinational pharmaceutical industry and are essential to perform the job in a reasonable manner. This is a Senior Scientistlevel position and we would not hire anyone into this position that did not have at least a PhD and 2 years of relevant research experience. This Senior Scientist will be expected to provide significant contributions to our latestage product development and global manufacturing efforts. They must have the indepth, complex, and theoretical understanding of chemical engineer principles, particularly as they relate to industrial pharmaceutics, that can best be gained through a PhD level program. In addition, they must be able to demonstrate a research focus on pharmaceutical formulation and processing, specifically with formulation technology for the bioavailability enhancement of poorly watersoluble drugs. This is a highly specialized area and the employer is looking for applicants who can demonstrate this expertise through experience and publications. This is a senior level position and requires the ability to resolve technical issues, contribute to product development, drive new technology development, and lead compliance efforts. The employer has determined that a PhD, 2 years of experience, and a publication record, is required.
