The position of Lab Tech Biological Technician requires a Bachelors Degree or its foreign equivalent in Clinical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology or a related field and one 1 year of progressively responsible, postbaccalaureate experience. Additionally, applicant must have One 1 year of molecular experience; Experience performing various molecular techniques including capillary electrophoresis fragment analysis or Sanger sequencing, real time PCR, RNA based assays, quantitative PCR, RNA based tests or next generation sequencing; Experience in molecular testing for cancer markers; Experience in a clinical or research lab performing quality related activities including training, quality control, validations or equipment management; Experience in DNA and RNA isolation; and Experience with molecular instrumentation such as ABI3130 and real time PCR instruments.
