CEVA Freight is a global company specializing in designing and implementing industryleading solutions in both freight management and contract logistics. The position of Senior IT Enterprise Architect is not entrylevel; it is integral part of growing and maintaining our operations and allowing our business to achieve customer objectives. In order to provide leadership and technical expertise in new software or significant enhancements to existing software, heshe must be skilled inwith SDLC, POC, and Automated testing and deployment to ensure qualitycontrol tests and analyses, and ensure enduser requirements. Heshe must be skilled inwith Code review to provide technical guidance and mentoring to application development teams, define and enforce project development standards and best practices, and define, assign, monitor, and report status of development tasks. Heshe must be skilled inwith software tools and technologies to undertake complex projects and provide expertise at top technical levels, create solution Proofs of Concept, and supervise IT Systems Engineers and Architects. Heshe must be skilled inwith API design and microservices to design core application frameworks for complex projects and lead and participate in the development of software architecture documentation. Heshe must also be skilled inwith logistics domain knowledge to coordinate to understand requirements and specifications for products. Furthermore, occasional travel nationally and internationally is required for meetings and training. Without a theoretical background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related, gained through at least a Bachelors degree, the applicant would not have the foundation in IT architecture knowledge required for the role. The knowledge must be combined with at least 5 years of experience in Java Architecture to demonstrate heshe has handson, realworld experience to perform the duties required. Each required skill directly relates to the duties to be performed. The applications and systems used to perform the job are extremely complex and integral to the wellbeing of CEVA Freight. Therefore, we have determined that the job duties and minimum requirement of a Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience bear a reasonable relationship to the occupation in the context of our business, and are essential to perform the job in a reasonable manner.
