Must have 2 years of experience with the following skills understanding different computational methods applied in combustion simulations, realizing and selecting the method and software depending on the projects time line; experience with engine performance efficiency, emission as well as details of combustion behavior physical and numerical turbulent properties, unmixedness, temperature fluctuations, flashback propensity; advanced combustion simulation methods, software and coding skills to be able to write customized post processing software suites; creating and modifying CAD Models, Meshing, Modeling, Post Processing and Validation; familiarity with Fuel properties, Mixing methods and characteristics; understanding and communicating interfaces with manufacturing, testing, budgeting; continuous communication with Internal Project Technical Leads and Technical Focal Points to ensure the best quality of simulation using the latest and greatest methods in agreement with TFPs, yet meeting deadlines and satisfying IPTLs goals; Fluent, Matlab ; CFD, RANSSST, STE, URANS, LES, DNS; Combustion modeling through FGM, Global models, detailed chemistry; Heat transfer analysis, 1D, conjugate heat transfer; proficient in working with Linux and hands on Java and Python programming; proficiency in parallel programming MPI; and familiarity with cross sectional data and regression analysis. Approximately 20 travel required.
