This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field plus three 3 years of related experience in software engineering. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field plus five 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in software engineering. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 developing highlevel detailed requirements, architectural designs, and functional designs for the software development of new applications and new features to existing applications; 2 designing application modules, Restful APIs, base classes, and utility classes using Java 811; 3 working with Spring Boot framework for implementation of the web layer of the applications; 4 designing and developing web services using Spring 5, JPA 2.2, and Hibernate 5.2 to access and execute various client reports; 5 Implementing continuous delivery pipeline using Docker and creating and pushing Docker container images; and 6 working with various tools and technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, REST, Kafka, Maven, GIT, Jenkins, Kibana, and Postman, as well as with web servers including Apache Tomcat and Jetty. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Masters program.
