Specific Skills

Masters degree in civil engineering with coursework in geotechnical engineering, or related. Two years as a geotechnical engineer, assistant project engineer or related. Experience must include Conduct pavement condition assessment, plan and monitor pavement cores and geotechnical investigation for pavement studies, pavement section design for rehabilitation or replacement, preparation of reports, plans and specifications, and construction monitoring. Oversee excavation and fill operations for water and wastewater conveyance system installation and rehabilitation projects as well as monitor construction of temporary earth retention structures for retention, pumping, treatment and flow metering facility construction projects. Review geotechnical and geostructural shop drawing and product data submittals for conformance with project plans. Prepare subsurface profiles and geotechnical reports interpreting geologic depositional setting, subsurface conditions, and engineering properties of soil.
