Specific Skills

Must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or its U.S. equivalent. Must have a valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Texas. The candidate must have two 2 years of experience in the veterinary field performing spayneutering, vaccinations, disease diagnosis with minimum resources, and surgeries of animals including the following procedures ophthalmic surgery, scrotal ablation, tumor removals, wound repair, laporatomy, cystotomy, spleenectomy, gastropexy, amputation of diseased limbs, foreign body removal, enterotomy, gastrotomy, and pyometra surgery. Must have knowledge of infectious disease management, medical protocols, emergency services, zoonotic disease prevention and foster veterinary care of animals. 40 hours per week 830 am to 530 pm. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
