This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or a related field and 2 years related experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 executing solutions to business problems using advanced statistics, testing methods, data analysis, data mining, predictive modeling, optimization, and machine learning techniques; 2 design and run endtoend experiments with statistical rigor for test and learn, apply appropriate sampling methods and probabilistic simulations to hypothesis testing and parameter estimation including bootstrapping; 3 perform data exploration and visualization, apply machine learning and statistical inference to seed hypotheses, identify opportunities, define metrics, provide interpretability to multidimensional scoring, regressor and classifier models, or decision tree learning, using novel methods; 4 employ statistical programming languages SAS, Python, R and toolkits Scikitlearn, Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, PySpark, Jupyter Notebook and kernel, Macro across disparate environments including LinuxUnix command line and shell scripting, virtual and clouds; and 5 execute and automate data preprocessing via relational systems MySQL, Postgre, Teradata, Oracle, and DB2, and parallel computing for big data, using analytics engine and cluster computing frameworks Apache Spark and Hadoop MapReduce, Apache Tez, and Yarn. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Masters program.
