Two years of industry, academic, andor research experience gained at any time which must have included a minimum of one year of experience in each of the following tool installation, automation and interface with Electronic Design Automation companies; providing end user support with application of tools, methodologies to enable highquality design and analyses; applying basic principles of VLSI design, verification and validation, VLSI design automation, embedded software and system design to assigned problems; using programming languages for automation of key activities including but not limited to design creation, data collection, analysis, design automation tools controls, inputoutput data formatting using a combination of at least 3 of the following Verilog, Skill, C, bash, python, TCL or MATLAB; using and deploying methods related to various electronic design tools andor related software for infrastructure such as databases, data structures and repositories, software installation and debug issues; using working knowledge of version control systems like Git, Perforce; and using familiarity with development support tools like Jira, Confluence. Must have demonstrated understanding in areas such as custom tools, flow development, design analog, highfrequency, Mixed signal, digital, physical design and software. Must have had exposure to verification of design projects, including development of complex environments, verification plans, simulation, coverage analysis. Must have demonstrated ability to provide highquality proactive application engineering for both inhouse and commercial CAD tools and flows. Must have solid oral, written, and presentation communication skills to efficiently communicate and work across a global organization where success is highly dependent on collaboration and effective communication.
