Specific Skills

Masters degree or foreign equivalent in robotic systems development, mechanical engineering, or related field. Six months of experience in robotics development. Experience must include i Robot Operating System ROS; ii developing navigation and sensing algorithms for autonomous mobile robots operating in outdoor environments; iii prototyping robotic applications in C, C, Python, or Matlab. Must have knowledge through course work or experience of i 3dimensional and projective geometry algorithms for computer vision and robotics; ii machine learning techniques including neural networks, decision trees, Bayesian learning, and convolutional neural networks; iii robot motion planning and navigation algorithms; iv kinematics of robotic arms, robot control, and manipulation algorithms; and v designing full lifecycle of robotic products from conceptualization to architecture and commercialization. Travel required about 2 times per year for 23 days per trip for testing at client locations to include Mississippi, Louisiana.
