Minimum education and experience required Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or Business or foreign equivalent degree 2 years experience in a production management, supplier quality management, plant management, or quality management position, or combination, with a Tier1 automotive supplier or automotive OEM. Special experience required Must have 2 years experience in each of the following developing global suppliers for multimilliondollar automotive component programs; using Six Sigma methodology to evaluate supplier convergence plans; ensuring the application of AIAG, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3 quality standards and environmental sustainability requirements by suppliers of automotive components; interpreting blueprints, part drawings, and GDT data for automotive components; performing VAVE on materials and processes used for the manufacture of automotive components to determine impact of supplier cost during acquisition, development, and serial life program phases; establishing QCD production guidelines including formulation, implementation and monitoring of KPIs for multimilliondollar automotive component programs; formulate, implement, and monitor supplier turnaround convergence plans for nonconforming suppliers; manage supplier readiness and APQP milestones for the launch of new automotive program. Experience may be acquired concurrently.
