Requires Masters or foreign equivalent degree in robotics, aeronautics or a related field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience developing algorithms for perception with automotive sensors including radar, Lidar and cameras. Requires 2 years of experience developing localization, object detection and tracking algorithms and testing with low cost automotive sensors; building data processing pipeline, establishing and leveraging ground truth data, developing simulation and visualization tools, and validating and testing; developing classical Machine Learning and modern Deep Learning algorithms for perception systems; evaluating and comparing different machine learning algorithms and optimizing them to meet runtime accuracy and performance objectives for automotive applications; developing simulation software to augment virtual objects to sensor data from real scenarios for Lidar, Camera and Radar sensors for testing perception systems; developing software in Matlab, C, and Python; and using Git version control system. Also requires 1 year of experience working with automotive long range and short range radar sensors, automotive grade image sensors, GPS, IMU and automotive communication protocols CAN and working with SAE Level 2, 3, and 4 software development.
