Specific Skills

Complete requirements for the offered position are as follows At least a Bachelors or higher degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or closely related engineering discipline, plus at least 3 years of experience as a civil or structural engineer or consultant planning and conducting advanced analysis of hazards arising from industrial and nonindustrial explosion accidents and working with SDOF and TDOF codes. Experience must include performance of structural assessments for Facility Siting Studies FSS and Quantitative Risk Assessments QRAs, development of building upgrades associated with mitigation for blast, thermal, and toxic hazards, and development of new designs for buildings subjected to blast, fire, and toxic hazards. Must be licensed to practice as a PE in state of Texas.Travel to unanticipated client sites across the United States is required 15 20 of the time.
