Specific Skills

The Engineering Services Manager will be based out of SELESs Alpharetta field office at 6835 Shiloh Road East Suite C1, Alpharetta, Georgia 30005. However, because SELES has numerous customers nationwide, some travel is required, as the incumbent will occasionally and on a shortterm basis be deployed to various customer sites. Candidates must therefore be willing to travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States on an ongoing basis.br br Candidates must possess, at minimum, a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field, as well as 36 months of fulltime progressively responsible professional work experience as a Protection Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or related occupation. Of the 36 months of required work experience, at least 24 months must have been spent undertaking all four of the following sets of tasks i managing a team of professional, subordinate engineers in the creation, design, configuration, validation, installation, testing, commissioning, and operation of power system automation, protection, and control systems; ii participating in business development and creating and presenting project proposals; iii designing, developing, and testing power protection systems e.g., synchrophasor applications, remedial action schemes, power management systems, and power electronic applications; and iv engaging in SCADA system development, design, implementation, and operation. All of the relevant required experience may have been gained concurrently. Candidates must also be willing to comply with SELESs DrugFree and TobaccoFree policies.
