Specific Skills
Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or economics and five years of overall progressive experience in business analytics. Will also accept a masters degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, business, or economics and three years of experience in business analysis. This experience must include three years of experience in the following 1 advanced Excel to analyze data and create models and tools for business users; 2 ETL processes, including cleaning and prepping data for analysis; 3 gathering data and driving data driven decisions, including visualizing data, creating models, and making suggestions on business improvements based upon data; 4 cloud solutions, including Amazon Web Services; 5 relational SQL and scripting languages, including Shell and Python; 6 data structures and algorithms; 7 translating data and stories into business relevant recommendations and deliverables; and 8 leading stakeholder engagement and providing updates to management about the progression of business analysis decisions. Experience may be gained before, during, or after a masters degree.
