Continued from H.11br Performs software Testing Deployment, including tests complex programs or applications to find software bugs error or other defects, and verifies that the program or application is fit for use; ensures that programs continue to function normally after modifications through software testing and provides statuses to supervisor; develops users acceptance test cases, secures approval of test results from customers, and discusses problems or concerns; assists team members in testing, debugging, and diagnosing difficult errors in their application software and databases by analyzing output; tests complex software applications to make sure they are performing to the established standards; and prepares, performs, and tests database and software application deployments in preproduction environments. Provides Customer Technology Support, including answers questions and provides technical guidance, technical support, andor training to users from many departments at Texas AM University to ensure the success of custom software applications; and monitors and responds to support requests using Service Desk software. Follows Procedures, Participates in Professional Development Completes Reports, including utilizes established procedures for coding, software security, software testing, software methodology, deployment of software, and change documentation throughout the software development process and communicates andor demonstrates these to other team members as needed; learns new programming languages, software development techniques, and work processes as directed by supervisor; and completes reports and summaries for supervisor andor users including status reports, problem reports, progress summaries, and system utilization reports. Performs other duties, as assigned.br br Min. Educ. Requirement Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field, or any equivalent combination of education and or experience.br br Min. Exp.
